Bill Bailey stranded on desert island (not really)

Bill BaileyBill Bailey, the hirsute comedian set to grace the Eden Sessions stage on July 11, will be warming up his comedy chords and flexing his funny muscles on BBC Radio 4's Desert Island Discs this Sunday (June 8) and next Friday (June 13).

Bill, who will be making history with his appearance headlining Eden's first ever comedy Session, is one of the country's top comedians, making regular appearances as a captain on Never Mind the Buzzcocks and showing off his acting talents on programmes such as Black Books and Spaced.

You don't even need to take our word for it either: BB was listed by The Observer as one of the 50 funniest acts in British comedy in 2003 and in 2007 he was voted number seven on Channel 4's hundred greatest stand-ups.

The man's funny, people.

Check out www.bbc.co.uk/radio4 for more details on his Desert Island Discs appearance and if you haven't already got your ticket for this hotly-anticipated Session yet, call our box office on 01726 811972 or visit www.edenbookings.com.

In Bill's own words: "Let there be jokes among the Biomes."
