Face in the Crowd
Every Eden Session this year we photographed a face in the crowd that stood out and awarded them with a pair of tickets for the next gig, just for being so great - the criteria was random, it could have been the outfit, the shoes, or even the beard!
The Verve
First up is Dave Barnes from Bovingdon in Herfordshire, who was sporting undoubtedly the most spectacular beard in the crowd at The Verve's gig on June 27. Unfortunately, Dave wasn't able to take up his prize, living as far away as he does, but he should feel proud that he has been named the first Eden Sessions Face in the Crowd of 2008. Well done, Dave.
The Raconteurs
At The Raconteurs/Vampire Weekend Session on June 29, we spotted these three rock chicks, complete with novelty oversized sunglasses and inflatable guitars. They are, left to right, Hannah Sudds, Gemma Vegas and Trena Elsey and they will all be returning for the Bill Bailey gig on July 11. Let's hope they keep it rockin' until then.
Bill Bailey

Face in the Crowd for Bill Bailey was an obvious choice. In their yellow waterproofs and outrageous facial furniture, (left to right) Sarah Gibson, Robin Dowse and Andrew Gibson from Penzance were the only people at the show visible from anywhere at Eden. They get a pair of tickets to the Kaiser Chiefs on Tuesday.
Kaiser Chiefs
Face in the Crowd at the Kaiser Chiefs was an easy choice. Jake Waller from Tregony near Truro arrived decked out in the regalia of South African football team Kaizer Chiefs, the band's namesakes. Jake gets a pair of tickets to KT Tunstall on July 25. Well done!
KT Tunstall
Our KT Tunstall faces in the crowd were cousins Charles Mellor and Lucy Cabe who were sporting some very fetching glowstick glasses. Charles and Lucy win a pair of tickets for the first Session of next year.
